Have an enjoyable but safe Easter weekend

Buckinghamshire Council offers ideas to residents on how to have an enjoyable but safe Easter weekend

With sunny weather predicted for the bank holiday weekend, Buckinghamshire Council is urging residents to stick with the government’s advice to stay at home this weekend.

Although this Easter weekend is likely to be a very different bank holiday to what most people are used to, the council has some great ideas for making it a fun and productive time:

More ideas for fun and creative things to do can be found on Buckinghamshire Council’s dedicated ‘Things to do in the Easter holidays’ page: buckinghamshire.gov.uk/coronavirus/community-hub/keeping-you-safe/things-do-easter-holidays

Buckinghamshire Council’s Executive Portfolio Holder for Health and Culture, Cllr Gareth Williams, commented:

“With warm, sunny weather forecast for the bank holiday weekend, there’s bound to be a temptation for people to head for the countryside. However, as per the government’s advice, I would ask people to stay at home to help reduce the risk of the coronavirus spreading in our community and overwhelming our NHS. If you need to go outside for reasons like exercise and shopping, please stick to the social-distancing guidelines.
