Advice and training for local community groups
Local charity Community Impact Bucks supports people and groups to get involved and make a difference in local Buckinghamshire communities.

One of the ways that the charity does this is by offering expert advice and training to voluntary groups in the county including these upcoming events:

  • Legal and governance advice sessions on 28th January 2021: if your voluntary organisation has a legal or governance issue that it needs advice on, take up the opportunity to discuss and get direction from an expert from IBB Law, a local legal charity with a specialist department for charities, on 28th January 2021. Each 30 minute one-to-one appointment is free and is delivered via Zoom.
  • Networking opportunity for Buckinghamshire’s Volunteer Managers on 14th January 2021 (10-12am): this free networking session is suitable for anyone (paid/unpaid) involved with recruiting/ managing volunteers for charities, community groups or social enterprises delivering services in Buckinghamshire.  Held via Zoom on 14th January 2021 (10-12am), it is a great place to ask questions, share experiences and exchange fresh ideas with others.

Tailored 1:2:1 advice on volunteer recruitment and management (by appointment): if you need new ideas on how to recruit volunteers and trustees, or would like advice on how to start or refresh a volunteering programme, book a free 1:2:1 advice session with one of the team at Community Impact Bucks at a time and date that suits you.

More information on all the events can be found on Community Impact Bucks’ training and events webpage.
