New Year – New Role: Waddesdon Parish Council needs YOU!!!
Do you have the passion and drive to help your local community?
Do you want to do something positive and, like most Councillors, made a difference by influencing decisions that affect your community?
Recent projects include:
- Outdoor Gym installation
- Community Centre acquisition to enable more community-based sessions with the emphasis on Early Years Services
- Purchase of Remembrance Bench for the cemetery
- Winter plants for Over 60s (in lieu of Christmas lunch)
Projects planned for 2021:
- Development of the Vision Plan
- Improvements to Skate Park
- Over 60s Christmas Lunch
- Santa’s Grotto
If you want to play a part in the key developments in Waddesdon – put yourself forward and stand as a Councillor.
Councils provide local services to people living or working in their areas. It is an important role and people from all walks of life are encouraged to take an interest in local democracy and to think about putting themselves forward for this exciting role.
Requirements
You must live or work in Waddesdon and be aged 18 years or over and either a UK or qualifying Commonwealth citizen or a citizen of the Irish Republic, or a citizen of another Member State of the European Community.
