Christmas doesn’t start until Santa comes to visit!

This Christmas come and visit our Santa’s Grotto – Festive fun for everyone!


Enjoy a special family encounter with Father Christmas in his festive
 grotto where every good child receives a gift and the opportunity to have a photo taken.
 Father Christmas and his elves will be here from 1 pm until 5 pm on Friday 21st December.

There will be hot and cold refreshments served all afternoon. Coffee, Tea and soft drinks will also be available.

For the visit to the grotto and a present from Santa along with the opportunity to have your child’s photo** taken the cost per child is just £1! There is no charge for accompanying adults. Admission to the Methodist hall is free so come along and enjoy the festive atmosphere and partake in a mince pie or two!

Here are some questions and answers that we get asked, you may find some of your questions are answered here too:

Can I book a time to see Father Christmas?
No. We do not operate a booking system as Father Christmas visits are special to each family, therefore we don’t wish to impose timed slots.

Do I have to pay for my child who is under 12 months old?
No, entry is free, however the gifts may not be age appropriate for children under 2 years.

Santa’s Sleigh Timetable (December 21st from 5 pm*)

Santa’s elves have finished preparing his sleigh ready for the annual trip to see the good children of Waddesdon and the surrounding villages. This year’s Santa sleigh visit starts around 5 pm where he will be leaving the Methodist Hall for a trip around the village.

We will be updating his progress around the village on our Facebook page so remember to check them on the 21st of December.

Once he’s driven all around the village the sleigh will head back to the Methodist Hall.

Please note while Santa and the elves will attempt to cover all the roads, circumstances beyond their control (weather, traffic etc) may limit their ability to do so.
